On Tuesday 8 March, Harvey Cameron hosted our annual International Women’s Day event to discuss this year’s theme, Break the Bias.
We hosted the event online with BYO breakfast and coffee and were joined by inspirational Canterbury leaders - MC Leeann Watson, CEO, Canterbury Employers’ Chamber of Commerce and panel speakers Cheryl de la Rey – Vice Chancellor, University of Canterbury; Rebecca Miller – Co-Founder, MilkIQ; Hannah Watkinson – Managing Director, Salt Lane Studios.
Our vibrant panel of speakers shared their views on the topic of bias and what we can do to break it, the challenges they’ve face and their leadership lessons.
A special thank you to Leann, Cheryl, Hannah and Rebecca who left us with some thought-provoking messages and reminded us to keep challenging the status quo for ourselves, our community and our whānau.
